Welcome To The Moose Lake Public Library Website!
The Moose Lake Public Library is located at 313 Elm Avenue in beautiful
downtown Moose Lake, MN. We are located inside the new Moose Lake
Community and Civic Center. We are very proud of our new library and invite
all to come in and take advantage of this wonderful community resource.
Listed below are just some of the services that we offer to the public:
- The Moose Lake Public Library currently has a collection of about
13,000 fiction/non-fiction books and over 1,000 VHS tapes and 360 DVD's! Being a member
of the Arrowhead Library System
we can take advantage of interlibrary loans to get materials that we
may not have on site. Click here to search for a book or check your account now.
- 101 subscriptions to some of the most popular Periodicals. Magazines
such as Astronomy, Time, Newsweek, People, Popular Science, Oprah, Martha
Stewart Living, and many more are available. Magazines may be checked
out for one week, however, a fine of 10 cents a day and up to fifty
cents a week for overdue magazines is levied.
- There are currently a total of nine public computers in the library
and we have recently upgraded to a T1 line for internet access. Our
computers include flat screen monitors, Windows XP, Pentium IV CPUs,
and access to a HP laser printer.
- The Last Saturday Book Club meets at 1:00 PM on the last Saturday
of each month. They meet in the City Council Chambers located in the
same facility as the Moose Lake Library. All are welcome and encouraged
to attend the Book Club. Please contact the library for more information.

- Every Year the Moose Lake Public Library sponsors a large book sale.
This sale is usually the third week of June. The proceeds help pay for
summer reading program costs. We also accept donations for this sale
all year round.
- Access to a copy machine for 20 cents a copy.
- Financial aid information and College Information
- Tax Forms
- Test Proctoring.
- Interlibrary loan capability though out the state of Minnesota.
- Macular Degeneration Machine available for the visually impaired.
- Helping Seniors beginning to learn to use the internet. (Just ask
for help)
